Authentic Thai cuisine with hood spiciness in each dish. Awesome gathering place for any group. Do book in advance as it have limited seatings. Food are tasty and can’t stop eating. Note outside alfresco seating are subject to mosquitoes dining with you. Nicely decorated place and very friendly service staffs. Will come back again to try other dishes.

Phenomenal. The garden and inside are well designed and decorated. The food was delicious and so photogenic. The menu was indeed heavier than an encyclopedia and you probably only need to look at the recommended dishes page lol. It was hot and I asked for a fan, they immediately brought one out and addressed all my needs so well. Seems like you generally need reservations but I walked in on a random weekday at like 2pm alone. The royal platter was so pretty & savory (shrimp cakes were too shrimpy for me). Pork cabbage rolls were the best I've ever had, loved the garlic-ness. The Thai iced tea was also so darn good! The complimentary salted coconut pudding was also a treat!

One of the best "traditional" Thai restaurants left in sukumvhit. After covid wiped most of them out a real gem left amongst the nice but not "special" Thai food places. The menu is like a tome that is thick enough to kill someone with, so there will be something for everyone and the drinks are fantastic as well. Real ambience and cute place that has a historical vibe - but that does lead to Mosquito havens (even inside) so do come armed with some spray.

Super good and delicious food. Price range is above average. But only one star I try to remove it becox I find out each dish was a little bit too heavy... If u try to order more then 3 dishes.... All the taste will be too heavy for u. Service is good and I love the environment

this place was really cool. a very traditional restaurant. the design is very old school. you can still smell the woody of the building. they have one outdoor place that is super cosy. the food in their menu is incredible. they have photos for each dish. most of the food i have never seen before. all the taste was really interesting for me. never had them before. they served good dessert too. recommend people to try out if they wanna experience traditional thai food. but they are on the pricey side.

Really good dining experience! It is located on side street of Soi 22. Probably need a transport from a BTS station. The restaurant setting is quite unique with traditional Thai decorations. It is divided into several different dining area that makes us feel we visited someone’s house. It seems like you can dine outside but we ate inside as it was raining. The menu is huge!! All dishes have photos and many menus look very interesting - so be aware… it makes you want to come back more to try different dishes! We picked some from the recommended pages and kids ordered satay pork. The platter including flower tempura was really nice as well as other dishes like banana flower som tam and stir fry prawn and pork with basil leaf. Our kids are quite fussy on food but they really loved their satay pork.. good dessert menus as well. Having said that there are not many Thai restaurants offer good selection offline dessert, this place really does a good job! The coconut ice cream was refreshing and nice :) The staff were polite and very friendly- speak good English to make us feel welcome. We will come back for sure!!

Ruen Mallika was initially a little bit hard to find, as it is tucked away in a house, but the exterior is beautiful. We came on a weekday morning, and it was not too busy, but also the restaurant is very large and has a good amount of seating. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, both inside the house and the outside with the water had a really nice ambiance. We opted to sit inside because of mosquitos, but outside is a very beautiful pond and extra seating. The menu is extremely large (and detailed), but it added to the grandeur of the experience. We decided to order the appetiser sampler platter with fried flowers, the spicy crab and salted egg dip, as well as the Massaman curry. All three of these were absolutely delicious, and quite generous portions for three people. Something that impressed me the most was the fried frangipani, I did not know that you could eat these flowers, nor how delicious they would be! The presentation of the food is simply next level at Ruen Mallika, and I believe it is worth the price. I definitely would come back for a special occasion as the service was incredible and attentive, and the beautiful atmosphere and delicious food is definitely worth the visit!

This is first time food review in my life. Food is not something but not bad. But it needs too many things to be improved such as shabby and bad service. Staff suggests only expensive menu at least 1000bhat and after paying the bill she kept me waiting over 5 minutes. When i look for her ,she talked on the phone Such a terrible experience.i cannot beileve this place has reputaion. For what? Terrible service? Maybe. I paid almost 4000bhat for 2 pax..but never deserve it
